Atome Card PH A Complete Guide for Filipino Shoppers [2025 UPDATED]

Table of Contents

The Atome Card is a PayLater payment card for eligible users in the Philippines. It works through Mastercard for supported online, in-store, and overseas purchases, and Atome also supports QR Ph merchant payments for eligible Card users. Atome currently advertises no annual fee, spending limits of up to ₱200,000, up to 40 days of 0% interest when the eligible bill is paid in full on time, and 3- or 6-month installment options. [1]

The important part is the total cost. Installment interest, transaction or repayment processing fees, foreign-exchange charges, late fees, and other account-specific charges can apply. Atome’s fee schedule was updated on August 19, 2026, so this guide was re-checked against Atome’s current product and Help Center pages on September 11, 2026. [3]

Prepared by: Gadget Sensei PH Last fact-checked: Guide type: Philippine PayLater card guide

September 11, 2026 update: Atome’s August 19 fee schedule now lists the Card replacement fee at ₱200. This revision also re-checks the 10:00 PM due-date cut-off, repayment-channel fees, physical Card delivery timing, spending-limit guidance, and early repayment rules against current Atome sources.

Article Trust and Financial Disclosure

Gadget Sensei PH is an independent gadget retailer and educational website. Gadget Sensei PH is not Atome, Neuroncredit Financing Company Inc., Mastercard, a bank, or an Atome collection or account-support provider.

Gadget Sensei PH cannot:

  • Approve an Atome Card application
  • Guarantee a spending limit
  • Increase or restore an Atome limit
  • Change Atome interest, fees, or due dates
  • Reverse penalties or account restrictions
  • Access or troubleshoot a private Atome account

What should control:

  • The final details inside your Atome app
  • Your current billing statement
  • The Card Membership Agreement
  • The applicable loan or installment agreement
  • The payment amount shown before confirmation

Financial reminder: Fees, features, eligibility, spending limits, promotions, repayment channels, installment terms, and policies can change. Always review the current information inside the official Atome app before confirming a purchase or installment plan.

Quick Verdict: Is Atome Card Worth It?

The Atome Card can be worth using if you want a virtual or physical payment card that works at Mastercard merchants and you can reliably pay the full bill by the due date. It is most useful for planned purchases, online shopping, supported QR Ph transactions, and short-term payment flexibility.

Its strongest features include:

  • No annual fee under current published terms
  • Up to 40 days of 0% interest when the full bill is paid on time
  • Virtual Card for online purchases after approval
  • Physical Card for eligible users
  • 3- or 6-month installment options
  • Mastercard merchant acceptance
  • QR Ph payment support in the Philippines
  • Advertised spending limits of up to ₱200,000
  • Multiple repayment channels

It may not be suitable if:

  • You regularly miss payment dates
  • You already have several monthly debt obligations
  • You use PayLater products for impulse purchases
  • You only look at the monthly amount
  • You do not compare the total repayment
  • You treat the spending limit as additional income

Simple verdict: Atome Card makes the most sense when you buy only what you can afford, pay the full bill on time whenever possible, and use installments only after checking the complete interest, fees, due dates, and total repayment.

What Is the Atome Card?

The Atome Card is a PayLater payment card powered by the Mastercard network. Approved users receive a spending limit that can be used for eligible purchases. Transactions appear inside the Atome app and are included in the user’s billing statement.

It should not be confused with a conventional bank-issued revolving credit card. Atome controls the approval, limit, billing, repayment options, eligible transactions, interest, processing fees, risk checks, and account restrictions.

Users may generally be able to:

  • Pay the full statement by the payment due date
  • Convert an eligible bill into a 3-month installment plan
  • Convert an eligible bill into a 6-month installment plan
  • Use Auto Installment when available and enabled
  • Shop online using the virtual Card
  • Shop in stores using an activated physical Card
  • Pay participating merchants through QR Ph
  • Use the Card at supported overseas Mastercard merchants

Important: An approved spending limit is borrowed purchasing power. It is not additional income, savings, emergency cash, or money that can be freely withdrawn.

Is Atome Card Legit in the Philippines?

Atome Philippines operates through Neuroncredit Financing Company Inc. Atome’s official Philippine website currently lists SEC Registration Number CS201816338 and Certificate of Authority Number 1178. [13]

These published registration details help identify the company operating the service. They should not be treated as a government guarantee that every applicant will be approved, that every spending limit will be high, that repayment will always be affordable, or that every offer is suitable for every customer.

Before using Atome Card, review:

  • Interest and processing fees
  • Total repayment
  • Billing and payment due dates
  • Late-payment consequences
  • Privacy permissions
  • Transaction restrictions
  • Card and installment agreements

Registration does not mean:

  • Guaranteed approval
  • Guaranteed ₱200,000 limit
  • Government-approved affordability
  • No financial risk
  • No fees in every situation
  • Automatic reversal of penalties

Atome Card vs Atome Cash vs Atome Savings

Atome Card

Used for eligible purchases. Approved users receive a spending limit and can pay the bill in full or convert eligible bills into installment plans.

Atome Cash

A separate cash-loan product with its own eligibility, loan limit, interest, fees, repayment schedule, and approval rules.

Atome Savings

A separate savings product. Its deposit, interest, withdrawal, insurance, and account rules should not be presented as Atome Card features.

Do not mix the products: An Atome Card spending limit cannot normally be transferred directly to a bank account or withdrawn from an ATM. Cash-loan and savings features belong to separate Atome products.

Atome Card Requirements in the Philippines

Atome currently advertises a relatively simple Card application process. Applicants generally need to meet the age, identification, mobile-app, and verification requirements shown during application.

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid government-issued ID
  • Use an active mobile number
  • Have a smartphone with the Atome app
  • Provide accurate personal information
  • Complete identity and liveness verification
  • Pass Atome’s internal assessment
  • Review and accept the applicable terms

Atome currently states that one accepted identity document is the main document required and that there is no minimum income requirement for the Card application. [2]

Accepted IDs currently listed by Atome

  • Philippine National ID
  • Social Security System ID
  • Unified Multi-Purpose ID
  • Driver’s license
  • Passport

No minimum income does not mean automatic approval. Atome may still assess identity-verification results, application consistency, existing obligations, repayment behavior, account activity, fraud indicators, and internal risk criteria.

Your submitted ID should be:

  • Valid and not expired
  • Clear and readable
  • Fully visible in the image
  • Free from strong glare
  • Not damaged or defaced
  • Consistent with your application information

How to Apply for an Atome Card

You can submit an application through the official Atome mobile app. The exact screen wording may change depending on the app version and the Card options available to your account.

  1. Download or update the Atome app

Use the official Atome app from your device’s trusted app store.

  2. Register using your active mobile number

Use a number that you control and can access for verification and account notifications.

  3. Open the Atome Card section

Select the Card application option shown inside your account.

  4. Choose an available Card type or design

Available virtual and physical Card options can depend on eligibility.

  5. Enter your personal details accurately

Make sure your name, birth date, contact information, and address match your supporting identification.

  6. Upload an accepted government-issued ID

Use a clear image with the full ID visible and readable.

  7. Complete the face or liveness verification

Follow the instructions in good lighting and remove anything blocking your face.

  8. Review the information

Correct any inaccurate or incomplete detail before submission.

  9. Submit the application

Wait for Atome to complete its account-specific review.

  10. Check the Card section for the result

If approved, your virtual Card may become available for supported online purchases.

After approval: Atome states that the virtual Card can be used after approval. If you qualify for a physical Card, it may be processed and delivered to your registered address. [14]

Why Was My Atome Card Application Rejected?

Atome says Card applications are reviewed individually. The Card section in the app should show whether an application is still under review, unsuccessful, or approved. For unsuccessful applications, Atome says users may reapply once they meet the eligibility criteria. [15]

Verification problems Atome specifically lists

  • An accepted ID number or email is already registered
  • Submitted information is inconsistent with the accepted ID
  • The captured ID image is unclear
  • The accepted ID is defaced or cracked

Atome’s account-verification Help Center page advises reapplying with correct information if one of these issues occurs. [16]

How to check the result

  1. Open Atome

Sign in to the account used for the application.

  2. Go to Home

    Open the Card section.

  3. Read the current status

Use the result shown in the app rather than guessing the reason.

  4. Reapply only when eligible

Correct inaccurate information and follow the app’s current instructions.

Avoid approval scams: Do not pay anyone who claims they can guarantee approval, bypass verification, remove restrictions, or manually assign a higher Atome Card limit.

If a user is eligible for a physical Card, Atome currently states that it should arrive at the registered address within 10 working days. [5] [6]

How to activate the physical Atome Card

  5. Confirm the activation

Once activated, the Card can be used at supported Mastercard merchants.

Where Can You Use the Atome Card?

Atome states that its virtual Card can be used at supported online merchants that accept Mastercard. An activated physical Card can generally be used for supported online and in-store Mastercard transactions, including eligible overseas merchants. [17]

  • Online stores
  • Shopping apps
  • Physical retail stores
  • Restaurants
  • Grocery stores
  • Malls and service merchants
  • International websites
  • Supported overseas merchants

Why can an Atome Card transaction still fail?

  • The available spending limit is not enough
  • The Card details are incorrect
  • The Card is locked, inactive, or restricted
  • The merchant category is excluded
  • The transaction triggers a security review
  • The merchant does not properly support the transaction
  • The purchase exceeds an account or merchant limit
  • Mastercard or payment processing is temporarily unavailable

Can You Use Atome Card With QR Ph?

Yes. Atome Card users in the Philippines may be able to pay participating merchants by scanning a supported QR Ph code through the Atome app. [18]

  1. Open the Atome app

Select the QR Ph transaction feature available to your Card.

  2. Scan the merchant’s QR Ph code

Use only the code displayed by the intended merchant.

  3. Enter or confirm the amount

Make sure the payment amount matches the purchase.

  4. Review the merchant information

Confirm the merchant name and transaction details before authorizing.

  5. Authorize the payment

    Complete the required security verification.

  6. Keep the confirmation

Save the transaction record until the purchase is completed and verified.

Current QR Ph transaction fee: Atome currently states that it does not add an additional fee for Atome Card QR Ph merchant transactions. This can change, so check the app before confirming. [7]

Can You Use Atome Card Abroad?

Atome supports eligible international Mastercard merchant transactions. Foreign purchases can be subject to a foreign-exchange conversion fee, and the peso amount may differ depending on merchant settlement, exchange rates, and currency conversion.

  • Compare the foreign-exchange fee
  • Check the merchant conversion rate
  • Review any dynamic currency conversion offer
  • Confirm the final peso amount
  • Check your available spending limit
  • Compare another travel payment Card when possible

Foreign transaction reminder: Atome currently publishes a 3.10% foreign-exchange conversion fee for qualifying foreign transactions. A foreign merchant can trigger this fee even when the displayed charge is in Philippine pesos if the merchant settles overseas.

Can You Withdraw Cash or Transfer the Atome Card Limit?

ATM cash withdrawal

Atome currently does not support ATM cash advances through the Atome Card. [11]

Transfer to a bank or GCash

The Atome Card spending limit cannot normally be transferred directly to a bank account or e-wallet. [12]

Avoid Card cash-out schemes: Do not use fake purchases, suspicious QR transactions, or unauthorized merchants to convert your spending limit into cash. You may become responsible for a debt without receiving legitimate goods and could face fraud, disputes, account suspension, or data theft.

How Atome Card Billing Works

Eligible Card transactions are added to your account and appear in your Atome billing statement. Review the statement regularly instead of relying only on payment reminders.

  1. Use the Card for an eligible purchase

The transaction is submitted for Atome and Mastercard processing.

  2. Check the transaction in the app

Confirm the merchant, amount, status, and any applicable fee.

  3. Wait for the billing statement

Atome generates the statement based on your assigned billing date.

  4. Review the total bill

Check all purchases, interest, processing fees, installment amounts, and outstanding balances.

  5. Pay or choose an eligible installment plan

Review the total cost before converting a bill into installments.

  6. Keep proof of payment

Save the reference number or receipt and confirm that the payment is reflected.

What Does Up to 40 Days of 0% Interest Mean?

Atome promotes up to 40 days of 0% interest when the full eligible Card bill is paid on time. This does not mean that every transaction automatically receives exactly 40 days.

  • The transaction date
  • Your assigned billing date
  • Your payment due date
  • Whether you pay the full statement
  • Whether the transaction has a processing fee
  • Whether you convert the bill into installments

Safest rule: Do not estimate your deadline based on the phrase “up to 40 days.” Check the exact billing date and due date shown inside your own Atome account.

Atome Card Payment Due Date

Atome’s current Help Center states that the payment due date is 10 calendar days after the billing date. If the normal schedule would fall around the 29th to 31st, the billing date may be adjusted to the first few days of the following month. [4]

Your account controls: Do not copy another user’s billing schedule. Billing dates and statement timing can differ between accounts. Follow the due date shown in your Atome app.

Atome Card Installment Plans

Eligible Atome Card bills may generally be divided into 3 or 6 monthly payments. Installment conversion normally happens inside the app between the billing date and payment due date.

Before confirming an installment plan, check:

  • Outstanding principal
  • Installment interest
  • Transaction processing fee
  • Number of monthly payments
  • Monthly installment amount
  • Total amount payable
  • First payment date
  • Final payment date
  • Early-settlement rules
  • Effects on your available limit

Do not rely on a public calculator as your final quotation. Atome does not publish one fixed installment rate for every user and transaction. The interest and fees shown in your app or agreement should control.

What Is Auto Installment?

Auto Installment is an optional feature that may automatically convert an eligible outstanding Card bill into an installment plan on the payment due date. Availability, terms, charges, and available repayment periods can depend on your account.

Auto Installment

Changes the repayment structure by converting an eligible bill into scheduled monthly installments.

Auto-deduction

Attempts to collect an amount due from the nominated payment method connected to your Atome account.

They are different features: Enabling Auto Installment does not mean that a payment was successfully deducted. Always review the final plan and confirm the updated bill status.

Latest Published Atome Card Fees in the Philippines

Atome currently publishes the following Card fees. Account-specific amounts can still depend on the transaction, repayment method, installment plan, merchant, currency, promotion, and updated terms. [3]

FeeCurrent Published Information
Installment interestMay apply and should be displayed in the app, statement, or agreement
Late fee5% of the qualifying outstanding amount, excluding accrued interest and previous late fees, calculated monthly
Card replacement fee₱200 per replacement Card
Foreign-exchange conversion fee3.10% of the qualifying transaction amount (1.98% service fee + 1.12% Mastercard cross-border processing fee)
Repayment processing feeUp to 2.24% of the payment amount, including tax, with a minimum of ₱1
Transaction processing fee0% to 2.24% of the qualifying transaction amount, including tax
Loan restructure fee0% to 3.10% of the restructured amount
QR Ph Card transaction feeCurrently stated as free from additional Atome transaction fees
InstaPay or supported OTC repayment fee from AtomeAtome currently states no Atome repayment fee, but a payment provider may have its own charge

Repayment-channel fees currently published by Atome

Atome’s repayment guide currently lists a 2.24% processing fee for a linked credit/debit Card payment. Selected e-wallet provider payments can carry a 1.85% processing fee for amounts above ₱100. Atome separately describes Pay Bills via supported e-wallet billers as fee-free from Atome, although the e-wallet may charge its own convenience fee. InstaPay and supported OTC channels are also listed as repayment options; always use the fee shown in the app before confirming. [8]

Final fee rule: The amount displayed inside your Atome app, statement, Card agreement, or installment agreement is the amount that applies to your account. A public article cannot replace an account-specific disclosure.

Atome Card Sample Cost Estimate

Atome does not publish one fixed installment rate that applies to every user and transaction. A useful estimate should therefore separate the purchase amount from the interest and processing fees actually disclosed in the app.

For a sample ₱18,000 purchase, the principal-only split is:

Payment ChoicePrincipal Before Applicable Interest or Fees
3-month installment₱6,000 per month before disclosed interest and fees
6-month installment₱3,000 per month before disclosed interest and fees
Final Installment Total = Principal + Disclosed Interest + Disclosed Processing Fees
Estimated Monthly Payment = Final Installment Total ÷ Number of Monthly Payments

Do not substitute a public example for your offer. Before confirming an installment plan, use the final installment total, monthly amount, fees, and due dates displayed in your own Atome app or agreement.

Atome Card Spending Limit

Atome advertises spending limits of up to ₱200,000, but that is a maximum advertised amount rather than a guaranteed starting limit. Atome defines the available spending limit as the amount currently usable after accounting for the permanent limit, any active temporary limit, and outstanding balances. Recent or pending transactions and active installment plans can reduce what is available. [19]

  • Permanent spending limit
  • Active temporary limit, when granted
  • Outstanding Card balance
  • Recent or pending authorized transactions
  • Active installment plans
  • Payments that have not yet been validated

How to Increase Your Atome Card Limit

Atome currently directs users to the Limit Center in the app. Open the Card tab, choose Increase Spending Limit, then complete any available tasks or verification steps shown for your account. Atome may offer tools such as SMILE when additional verification is required. A higher limit is not guaranteed. [20]

  1. Open Atome

Go to the Card tab on the home page.

  2. Open Increase Spending Limit

This takes you to the Limit Center.

  3. Review available tasks

Complete only the verification steps shown in your account.

  4. Wait for Atome’s decision

Only Atome can approve or adjust the final limit.

Never pay a third party for a limit increase. Use only the Limit Center and official Atome support for limit-related requests.

How to Pay an Atome Card Bill

Atome currently supports several repayment channels. The options available to you can depend on the account, app version, bill type, and current payment-provider support.

  • InstaPay bank transfer

  • Linked credit or debit Card
  • Supported e-wallet bill payment
  • Selected e-wallet provider payment

  6. Save the receipt

Keep the reference number until your account reflects the payment.

  7. Confirm the updated status

Do not assume that a transfer or auto-deduction was successful without checking.

Atome’s current payment guide lists OTC, linked Card, InstaPay, Atome Savings, Pay Bills via supported e-wallets, and selected e-wallet provider payments. A linked credit/debit Card payment is currently listed with a 2.24% processing fee. Selected e-wallet provider payments can have a 1.85% processing fee for amounts above ₱100, while the Pay Bills route is described as free from Atome but may still carry an e-wallet convenience fee. [8]

How to Pay Atome Using InstaPay

  5. Complete and save the transfer

Keep the receipt and reference number.

  6. Confirm that the payment reflects

Refresh the app and monitor the bill status before the due date.

Do not pay your Atome Card number. Use only the repayment details generated inside the Atome app. Atome’s timing guide states that InstaPay normally reflects within approximately three hours, although additional verification can take longer. [9]

How to Pay Atome Using GCash or Another Supported E-Wallet

  1. Open the Atome bill

Choose Pay Bills via e-wallets or another supported e-wallet payment method when available.

  6. Save and verify

Over-the-Counter Payment Options

Atome’s current payment guide lists several supported OTC channels, although availability can change by provider and location.

  • 7-Eleven
  • Cebuana Lhuillier
  • Palawan Express
  • M Lhuillier
  • LBC
  • ECPay
  • Dragonpay
  • RD Pawnshop
  • CVM Pawnshop

Generate the reference first: Create the correct payment code or reference inside the Atome app before going to an OTC outlet. Confirm the supported merchant name and payment instructions shown on the payment page.

Atome Card Auto-Deduction

If a manual repayment has not been validated by the due date, Atome says its system will automatically deduct the payment due from the nominated Card on the due date. Check the app afterward rather than assuming the deduction succeeded. [8]

  • Confirm the nominated Card is still valid
  • Keep enough funds available
  • Check any repayment processing fee before paying
  • Keep proof of any manual repayment
  • Confirm the final bill status in the app

What Happens If You Pay Atome Late?

Atome’s current Help Center states that a successful repayment should be received no later than 10:00 PM on the due date. If repayment is not received by that cut-off, the account may be automatically enrolled into a payment plan lasting from 3 to 12 monthly installments, with finance charges and late fees applying. [10]

Atome’s August 19 fee schedule lists the late fee as 5% of the outstanding amount, excluding accrued interest and previous late fees, calculated monthly. [3]

Do not wait for 10:00 PM. Posting and validation can take time. Pay early enough for the repayment to be reflected before Atome’s due-date cut-off.

Can You Pay an Atome Bill Early?

Yes. For unbilled Card amounts, Atome currently instructs users to open Bills > Card > Unbilled > Pay early. Atome states that early repayment applies to the entire unbilled amount, not individual transactions or installments. Once processed, the unbilled balance is cleared and the corresponding spending limit is restored. Interest and other applicable charges associated with an installment plan still apply. [21]

Early payment is not automatically a fee waiver. Review the exact amount shown in the app before confirming.

Can You Use Atome Card for iPhones and Gadgets?

The Atome Card can generally be used for a gadget purchase when the merchant accepts the Card or supported QR Ph payment, the transaction is permitted, your available limit is enough, and Atome authorizes the purchase.

Before buying an expensive gadget, compare:

  • Cash price
  • Card transaction amount
  • Monthly installment
  • Total repayment
  • Installment interest
  • Processing fees
  • Warranty coverage
  • Seller legitimacy
  • Return and exchange policy
  • Your monthly affordability

Gadget Sensei PH payment reminder: Gadget Sensei PH’s current flexible-payment guide lists Atome as one available option for eligible customers. Confirm the exact device, price, stock, and payment option before ordering. Atome controls approval, spending limit, interest, installment terms, billing, and private account decisions.

Who Should Consider the Atome Card?

The Card may suit users who:

  • Want a virtual Card for online shopping
  • Need wider acceptance than partner-only BNPL
  • Understand billing dates and due dates
  • Track spending carefully
  • Have a stable repayment budget
  • Want an alternative to a traditional Card
  • Occasionally need a short installment plan

It may not be suitable if you:

  • Regularly miss due dates
  • Depend on uncertain future income to repay purchases
  • Already have high monthly debt
  • Use installments for daily impulse spending
  • Do not review billing statements
  • Want ATM cash withdrawals
  • Want to transfer the limit to a bank or GCash

Budget rule: A high spending limit is not the same as having additional income. Every purchase made using the limit still creates a repayment obligation.

Final Verdict: Is Atome Card Worth It in 2026?

The Atome Card can be a useful PayLater option for Filipino shoppers who want Mastercard acceptance, QR Ph payments, a virtual Card, and short installment options without an annual fee.

It delivers the most value when the full statement is paid on time. Its main weaknesses are installment charges, late-payment fees, repayment-channel fees, foreign-exchange costs, account-specific limits, and the risk of overspending.

The smartest way to use the Atome Card is to:

  • Treat it as borrowed purchasing power
  • Pay the full statement whenever possible
  • Compare the full installment cost
  • Pay before the payment due date
  • Keep proof of every repayment
  • Check the app for current terms
  • Use it only for planned purchases
  • Never rely on the spending limit as emergency cash

Final buying rule: Before using Atome for an iPhone or gadget, compare the final Atome repayment against the cash price, warranty, seller legitimacy, other installment options, and the amount you can realistically pay every month.
