Gadget Sensei PH Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: May 8, 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases and services offered by Sensei Gadgets Shop, doing business as Gadget Sensei PH (“Gadget Sensei PH,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including transactions through our website, physical store, and official communication channels.

They explain our ordering, payment, identity verification, delivery, reservation, warranty, return, trade-in, and service arrangements. Please review the relevant terms before placing an order or making a payment. If a product listing, order confirmation, or separate written agreement specifies additional terms, those terms apply to that transaction only to the extent permitted by law.

Your consumer rights remain protected. Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Philippine law, including the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394) and the Internet Transactions Act of 2023 (Republic Act No. 11967).

1. Business Information and Official Channels

Registered business name: Sensei Gadgets Shop

Use only our official website, confirmed payment instructions, and authorized accounts. Contact us if a person or account claims to represent Gadget Sensei PH but is not shown in our official channels. Store hours, directions, and service availability may change; please confirm before visiting.

2. Scope and When an Order Is Confirmed

These Terms apply to retail purchases, reservations, trade-ins, repairs or service assistance, and related customer transactions. They are made available for review before or during the relevant transaction. Mere browsing does not amount to consent to unrelated data processing; personal information is handled under our separate Privacy Policy.

Placing an order sends a request to purchase; it does not guarantee that a specific unit is available or ready for immediate delivery. We confirm the sale once the product, condition, final price, payment arrangement, and other material details have been accepted. An order marked “paid” may still require stock, security, or cardholder verification before release.

If an order is placed by or for a person under 18, we may require the legally appropriate parent or guardian approval before finalizing the transaction. We do not request unnecessary identification data for this purpose.

Private funding, reseller, wholesale, and other separately negotiated business arrangements may have their own signed contracts. Retail checkout terms do not automatically replace those separate agreements.

3. Product Listings, Photos, Specifications, and Availability

We aim to provide accurate listings showing the product model, storage, color, condition, price, inclusions, relevant warranty terms, and availability. Product photos may show the actual unit or a representative product; where the photo is illustrative, the listing or staff should make that clear.

For device-specific questions, customers may request confirmation of battery condition, physical condition, network compatibility, regional version, previous repairs, accessories, and any known limitations. Brand-new and Pre-Owned units can have different packaging, inclusions, or warranty channels.

Availability and prices may change before an order is accepted because of completed sales, supplier changes, or errors. If we find a material mistake after receiving an order, we will explain the issue and seek the customer’s agreement to a corrected offer or provide the appropriate cancellation and refund option. We will not impose an undisclosed additional charge on a confirmed transaction.

4. Product Condition and Pre-Owned Devices

We may offer brand-new sealed, open-box, Pre-Owned Good as New, refurbished, trade-in, and other clearly described device conditions. The actual product condition and any material limitations should be disclosed before acceptance of the sale.

Pre-Owned units may have reasonable cosmetic wear, battery wear, or other characteristics of previous use. The absence of an accessory, original box, cable, or other inclusion must be identified in the offer; it should not be assumed that every pictured accessory is included.

If a device has a known repair history, replaced component, region-specific feature, SIM/eSIM limitation, battery replacement, or other material difference, we will make reasonable efforts to disclose it accurately when known. We do not describe unverified third-party replacement parts as genuine manufacturer parts.

5. Customer Review Before Purchase

Before ordering, please check the model, storage, color, condition, price, payment method, delivery details, inclusions, and warranty coverage. Ask us about compatibility or required features before payment, especially for overseas-market variants and Pre-Owned devices.

For in-store sales, customers may inspect available units before acceptance, subject to reasonable store procedures. Acceptance of a device does not waive remedies for an undisclosed defect or misrepresentation recognized by law.

6. Prices, Quotations, and Additional Charges

Prices are quoted in Philippine pesos (PHP) unless expressly stated otherwise. The price confirmed at checkout or in the accepted written quotation controls the transaction, subject to applicable law and an agreed correction of a clear error.

We will identify delivery fees, optional insurance, installment charges, payment-method surcharges where lawful, and other applicable charges before the customer authorizes payment. Fees and terms may differ among payment methods or partner providers; charges not disclosed or agreed to cannot simply be added afterward.

A quotation may have a stated validity period. Supplier quotes, unconfirmed stock offers, and preliminary trade-in valuations are not guaranteed final prices unless expressly accepted as such.

7. Orders, Preorders, and Stock Reservations

Some products may be available for reservation or preorder, subject to confirmed terms. Before accepting a deposit, we will identify the item, price or pricing basis, amount paid, reservation or preorder conditions, expected availability if known, and what happens if the item cannot be supplied.

If a customer does not complete an agreed reservation within the disclosed conditions, we may contact the customer and review cancellation or release of the item. A reservation fee is non-refundable on customer cancellation only when this was clearly disclosed and is permitted by law. Such wording does not remove a customer’s legal remedies when the store cannot provide the item as agreed.

Preorder release dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise. If sourcing is delayed or the confirmed item becomes unavailable, we will give a reasonable update and discuss the customer’s available options, including a refund where due.

8. Layaway Program, When Offered

We may offer a separate layaway arrangement for eligible items. Under our current layaway program, there is no store-imposed minimum down payment, no fixed deadline to complete the balance, and no minimum amount for each subsequent payment. Customers may pay in installments, such as weekly or monthly, under the agreed record.

The reservation remains active while payments continue under the program. Voluntary cancellation and changes are subject to the conditions disclosed before accepting payment; the program generally permits moving to a higher-priced unit based on the then-current price rather than a cash cancellation. Any non-refundability condition remains subject to mandatory consumer rights, including when the store cannot fulfill an agreed sale or a legal remedy is due.

Layaway is separate from third-party credit or buy-now-pay-later products. A device is not automatically released before the balance and all applicable transaction conditions are satisfied.

9. Payment Methods and Confirmation

Available methods may include cash, bank transfer, QR or e-wallet payment, PayMongo-supported online checkout, credit cards, and partner financing when shown as available. Methods and fees are confirmed for the particular order.

A screenshot, bank debit, or customer-submitted proof of payment may be used to investigate a transaction, but the store must still confirm the credited payment through its authorized bank or payment provider. Please do not send payment to an account that has not been independently verified through our official channels.

If a payment is pending, duplicated, incorrectly addressed, or cannot be reconciled, contact us promptly with the transaction reference using a secure official channel. We will check the issue with the relevant provider and advise the next step without assuming the amount has been received.

10. Credit Card and Online Payment Processing

PayMongo, participating card issuers, e-wallet operators, banks, and other payment providers may apply their own authorization, settlement, fraud-screening, chargeback, and refund procedures. We receive the payment and transaction details needed to reconcile orders; full card credentials are processed by the payment provider where applicable.

An online card payment marked “paid” or “captured” is not necessarily immune from a later cardholder dispute or chargeback. For this reason, selected higher-risk or high-value transactions may require additional cardholder and purchaser checks before a gadget is released.

We will provide a clear notice of any additional verification requirement and expected release window before a high-value payment is finalized, or as soon as reasonably possible if an additional risk is identified after payment. We will not represent the mere passage of a verification period as a guarantee that a transaction can no longer be disputed.

11. High-Value Online Credit Card Verification Hold

For high-value or otherwise flagged card purchases, we may reserve the unit but temporarily hold release while verifying the payment, the rightful cardholder’s authorization, order details, and intended recipient. This is a risk-based precaution, not a finding that the customer committed fraud.

Where a high-value verification hold is disclosed for the order, the ordinary review window may be up to seven (7) calendar days after payment confirmation and receipt of necessary customer information. This is a review estimate, not an absolute limit or a promised delivery date. Reviews may take longer if the payment provider, issuer, or unresolved verification issue requires it; if so, we will explain the status and the available options promptly.

During the hold, the item should remain reserved when available. It will not be shipped, handed to a courier, or released for pickup until the required checks are completed. We will notify the customer of release or the next action; verification clearance and courier transit are separate stages.

12. What We May Request for Cardholder or Recipient Verification

We use proportionate verification measures and request only what is reasonably needed for the particular transaction. Depending on the case, we may ask the purchaser to confirm the order, the cardholder to confirm authorization, or the customer to verify delivery and recipient information.

  • An order number and confirmation that the purchase was placed or authorized by the rightful person.
  • A secure identity match or brief video or telephone verification where needed and suitable.
  • Limited, appropriately redacted identification or written authorization for an authorized third-party pickup or recipient, when necessary.
  • Transaction references or proof of payment needed to reconcile an outstanding payment issue.

We will not ask customers to provide their PIN, CVV, one-time password (OTP), online banking password, or full unmasked card number by email, Messenger, or chat. If additional documents are necessary, we will explain the purpose and the approved submission method. Verification documents are processed according to our Privacy Policy and the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

If a customer cannot complete a requested verification method, we can consider a reasonable alternative, where available. A different recipient, cardholder, or courier may require additional authorization before release.

13. If an Order Cannot Be Cleared for Release

If the payment provider reports an unresolved issue, verification remains incomplete, or the information is materially inconsistent, we may continue the hold for a reasonable period while we request clarification. We will provide a meaningful status update and the next available step rather than keeping the customer waiting without explanation.

Where the transaction cannot be completed, we will discuss cancellation, reversal, or refund through the original payment channel as appropriate. Customer rights to relief for merchant delay, non-delivery, or other legally recognized grounds remain unaffected. Personal pickup does not automatically remove a card-processing hold; the applicable clearance checks must still be completed.

14. Card Disputes, Chargebacks, and Refund Channels

A cardholder may contact the card-issuing bank about a disputed, unauthorized, or problematic transaction under the issuer’s procedures. We may be asked to submit records such as the order confirmation, customer communications, authorization evidence, and delivery or pickup proof, consistent with privacy law.

A normal merchant-requested refund and a bank chargeback are different processes. For refund requests, please contact us first when practical so we can review the order and use the correct payment channel. Customers may still exercise any rights to raise a dispute with their bank or an appropriate authority.

Approved card or digital-payment refunds normally return through the original method when supported. Their posting time depends on the provider and bank. We will provide confirmation of a refund initiated on our side when available; we cannot promise instant card posting. Fees or deductions, if any, must be properly disclosed, lawful, and not used to deny a remedy owed because of our own failure.

15. Credit Card Installments and Third-Party Financing

If card installments, SPayLater, GGives, Atome, BillEase, Skyro, or another financing option is offered, eligibility, limits, approval, interest or charges, due dates, and repayment rules may be determined by the relevant bank or provider. Available methods may be restricted to qualifying in-store transactions. Our online credit-card checkout is for straight payments only unless we expressly offer another approved method.

Where in-store card use requires the cardholder’s presence and a matching valid ID, we will explain this before taking payment. Estimated installment amounts and any applicable processing fees will be disclosed before confirmation. Gadget Sensei PH does not guarantee third-party financing approval or represent itself as the lender under such programs.

16. Delivery Coverage, Fees, and Timeframes

We may arrange delivery nationwide within the Philippines through couriers, private riders, or other supported logistics methods. Service availability, estimated transit time, charges, and optional insurance depend on the destination, item, and selected carrier.

The customer must provide an accurate delivery name, mobile number, complete address, and any reasonable delivery instructions. If details are incorrect, we will work with the customer to correct them; any reasonably attributable additional charges will be explained first.

Estimated dispatch and delivery dates are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed. We will communicate material delays and assist with tracking, missing parcels, or other fulfillment issues. Handover to a courier does not by itself remove obligations that remain with the seller under Philippine consumer law.

17. Store Pickup and Authorized Representatives

Pickup is available at our Greenhills Shopping Center location when arranged and confirmed. The customer may be required to provide an order reference and appropriate identification or authorization before a high-value item is released.

If someone else will collect the unit, please notify us in advance and obtain approval for the representative. We may verify the cardholder or purchaser and document the collection, subject to privacy requirements. We will not disclose more customer information to a representative than necessary.

Do not dispatch a rider or travel to the store based solely on an automatic “paid” notification if the order has not yet been cleared and confirmed ready for release.

18. Package Condition, Transit Loss, and Delivery Concerns

We take reasonable care with packaging and shipment records. Customers should check a delivered parcel promptly for signs of damage, wrong contents, missing items, or tampering and notify us as soon as practical with photos or relevant evidence.

Reporting a concern on the day of delivery is helpful but does not automatically extinguish statutory rights if a hidden defect or shipping issue is discovered later. We will review courier evidence and the customer’s report, coordinate an appropriate investigation, and provide the remedy required by the facts and applicable law.

Customer-arranged riders and third-party couriers may have separate responsibilities. Any allocation of shipping risk is subject to the actual arrangement and applicable law; these Terms do not excuse our negligence or legal obligations to deliver what was sold.

19. Order Changes, Voluntary Cancellation, and Refund Eligibility

Please request changes or voluntary cancellation as early as possible. A change-of-mind cancellation of a confirmed, correctly described, non-defective item is not automatically entitled to a refund, but we may approve an arrangement depending on preparation, reservation, shipment status, and any written terms disclosed before payment.

We may cancel an order for genuine stock unavailability, unverifiable or unauthorized payment, material listing error, or an inability to fulfill the agreed transaction. In those situations, we will explain the reason and offer the applicable refund or other lawful remedy. A general “all paid orders are final” statement does not eliminate statutory consumer rights.

If the item is already in transit, cancellation and return shipping may involve the procedures and costs permitted under the Internet Transactions Act, relevant provider rules, and the agreed order terms. We will not charge undisclosed cancellation penalties or retain payments when a refund is required by law.

20. Returns, Replacements, Repairs, and Statutory Consumer Rights

For a defective, faulty, damaged, or materially misdescribed product, customers may be entitled to repair, replacement, refund, price adjustment, or another remedy under Philippine law. The appropriate response depends on the product, the evidence, the defect, and applicable statutory rules.

We may examine the returned unit and its order history to verify the issue, but inspection procedures will not be used to deny or unnecessarily delay a remedy that is legally due. We will make reasonable efforts to provide clear instructions for returning an eligible item, including the shipping arrangements and charges for which the merchant is responsible under the law.

A change of mind, preference for another color or storage size, or buyer’s remorse is not by itself a claim that a correctly described and functioning product is defective. Conversely, our commercial warranty period or exclusions do not replace statutory remedies for an actionable defect or misrepresentation.

21. Invoice, Receipt, and Other Proof of Purchase

Keep the sales invoice, receipt, order reference, or other transaction proof issued for your purchase. It helps identify the item, sale date, applicable warranty, and the customer entitled to support.

If you no longer have a paper receipt, please provide other reasonable evidence of purchase so that we can check our records. We will not automatically reject a valid consumer claim only because a printed receipt is unavailable, where the sale can otherwise be reliably verified or the law requires a remedy.

22. Pre-Owned Device Warranty and Replacement

For eligible Pre-Owned Good as New devices, our current commercial warranty includes a seven (7) day replacement period for covered functional defects, subject to inspection and the actual item’s disclosed warranty terms.

If an eligible fault is confirmed, we may arrange replacement with an equivalent unit of the agreed condition and specification, where available, or the appropriate alternative consistent with applicable law. This voluntary seven-day program does not mean that all legal remedies expire after seven days.

Following the replacement period, our current Pre-Owned terms include one (1) month of service support for labor for eligible issues. Replacement parts may have a separate cost where this is permitted and the customer approves it in advance. No additional charge may be imposed for a remedy that the law requires the seller to provide without charge.

23. Brand-New Device Warranty

Brand-new devices sold under our current published retail warranty include one (1) year of warranty coverage for eligible manufacturer or functional defects, subject to the product-specific written terms and validation of the claim. Warranty service may be coordinated through the store, an authorized manufacturer channel, or a supplier service channel as disclosed for the particular product.

Regional devices may have different manufacturer-service arrangements. We will explain significant warranty limitations known to us before the sale and will not imply local manufacturer authorization or coverage when that has not been established.

Additional written manufacturer or supplier warranties are separate from statutory consumer remedies. Neither a supplier’s policy nor a store inspection requirement removes rights the customer has under law.

24. Warranty Coverage, Exclusions, and Misuse

Warranty claims focus on manufacturing or functional faults not caused by excluded events. Examples of potentially eligible concerns include confirmed failures in power, charging, touch, display, speakers, cameras, buttons, or other device functions that are not attributable to misuse.

Our commercial warranties generally do not cover accidental drops, cracked glass or LCD from impact, liquid exposure, corrosion, deliberate damage, ordinary cosmetic wear, routine battery aging, unauthorized component modification, or software problems caused by unsupported user actions such as jailbreaks or beta installations. iOS or app updates alone do not automatically establish a covered hardware defect.

Any exclusion must be considered in relation to the cause of the specific reported issue. A cosmetic mark or unrelated third-party repair does not automatically justify refusing every unrelated statutory claim. Accessories or promotional freebies may have different commercial warranties, but mandatory legal rights, where applicable, remain in place.

25. Warranty Inspection and Claim Procedure

To request inspection, please contact us with your name, contact information, order reference, product model and serial or IMEI where relevant, an explanation of the issue, and available photos or video. Avoid including private device content or sensitive banking information in videos or screenshots.

Our usual initial assessment period is up to seven (7) business days after receiving the device, depending on the issue and available diagnostic resources. For this estimate, business days generally exclude weekends and Philippine public holidays. More complex cases may require additional time; we will give an update if further checks or supplier coordination are necessary. The inspection estimate is not a basis to postpone remedies contrary to law.

If a claim is accepted, we will explain the proposed remedy, applicable costs if lawfully chargeable, and the expected next steps. If a claim is denied, we will explain the reason and the relevant findings.

26. Warranty Return Shipping

For approved claims covered by our voluntary warranty shipping support, we normally coordinate shipment through LBC under our Warranty Guide. We will confirm whether the store will arrange shipping, provide a label, or reimburse an approved charge before the item is sent.

If a defective or misdescribed online purchase gives rise to a legally required return, replacement, or refund, shipping responsibilities will follow the applicable consumer law rather than an arbitrary courier-only exclusion. Contact us first so we can document and coordinate the return safely.

27. Battery Health and Normal Wear

The battery-health reading or estimated condition of a Pre-Owned device is recorded as of inspection or the disclosed date, where available. Battery capacity may change with time, usage, temperature, charging, and software behavior.

A normal change in battery-health percentage is not automatically a functional defect. This does not exclude a genuine undisclosed battery fault or misrepresentation that qualifies for relief under applicable law.

28. Device Accounts, Activation, and Personal Data

Before submitting a phone or computer for trade-in, resale, diagnostics, or repair, please back up personal files and follow the agreed steps to sign out of Apple ID, Find My, iCloud, Google, or other activation and ownership protections where appropriate. Do not provide banking passwords, OTPs, or other unnecessary personal credentials.

We may inspect device identifiers, activation status, or functional features as reasonably necessary for the requested service. Our personnel will not intentionally browse or copy personal photos, messages, or private files unrelated to the service. Any necessary access will be explained and handled with appropriate authorization.

Customers remain responsible for keeping safe backups, while Gadget Sensei PH remains accountable for its own negligence or unlawful handling of personal data. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for collection, use, retention, and customer rights.

29. Diagnostics, Repairs, and Service Assistance

We may offer limited device checking, diagnostic assistance, and referral or coordination with repair partners. An initial estimate may change when hidden damage or additional faults are identified during inspection; we will seek approval before undertaking extra chargeable work.

Known prior repairs, liquid damage, modified parts, and concealed faults may affect the available service options and successful repair. We will explain material risks identified before work where reasonably practicable. We do not disclaim liability for proven negligence or actions for which we remain legally responsible.

30. Trade-Ins, Buy-and-Sell, and Device Ownership

Initial trade-in or buy-and-sell quotations may be based on model, storage, condition, battery health, photographs, market value, and customer disclosures. Final value is determined after physical inspection and device-ownership checks.

Before accepting a device, we may check its identifiers, activation status, reported loss or theft, outstanding finance or account restrictions, and available proof of ownership. Customers must have lawful authority to sell or trade the item. Materially inaccurate information or undisclosed damage may result in a revised quotation or refusal of the transaction.

We may request a signed acknowledgment or transaction record. Trade-in customers should remove personal data and linked accounts before handover. Any difference in the new device price, delivery arrangements, and warranty terms will be confirmed in writing.

31. Promotions, Bundles, and Special Discounts

Prices for promos, bundles, seasonal offers, freebies, corporate purchases, or selected discounts are subject to their published eligibility, validity period, available stock, and terms. Any applicable exclusions or non-combinable offers should be made clear before checkout.

If a promotion contains a material price or description error, we will notify affected customers and offer a lawful resolution rather than unilaterally changing a completed transaction without agreement. A “free” or bundled accessory may still be subject to applicable legal protections.

32. Customer Conduct and Transaction Integrity

Customers and staff are expected to communicate respectfully and provide truthful order, contact, payment, and device-ownership information. We may investigate suspected fraud, stolen devices, forged payment records, abusive behavior, or threats and may refuse or suspend a transaction when there is a legitimate, lawful reason to do so.

Any action will be proportionate to the circumstances and will not remove the customer’s right to a legally required refund, consumer remedy, or complaint. We may preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with lawful requests from banks, payment providers, or authorities in accordance with privacy laws.

33. Website Use, Accounts, and Technical Availability

The website and official online channels may be used for lawful shopping and inquiries. Users must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with checkout, submit malicious code, impersonate others, or misuse store content.

Temporary site downtime, inaccurate stock syncing, or payment-provider errors may occur. We will take reasonable steps to investigate affected orders and clarify the applicable next action. A technical error does not automatically create an obligation to supply an item at an obviously incorrect price without the lawful order-acceptance process.

34. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Brands

Our own original text, logos, photographs, designs, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property law, except to the extent owned or licensed by others. Third-party names including Apple, Samsung, PayMongo, and financing brands belong to their respective owners.

The use of a brand name to identify a compatible or original product does not necessarily mean Gadget Sensei PH is an authorized distributor or service center for that brand. Such status will be claimed only when actually established.

35. Privacy, Messaging, and Marketing

We process customer information for orders, payment verification, delivery, service support, fraud prevention, and other lawful purposes as described in our Privacy Policy. Verification records, copies of identification, proof of payment, and customer photos must be handled in accordance with that policy and the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Promotional messages, testimonials, customer photos, and marketing uses are handled based on the applicable legal basis and consent or communication preferences where required. Customers may contact us to opt out of non-essential marketing. Important order, payment, safety, and warranty messages may still be sent when necessary for the transaction.

36. Third-Party Services and External Links

We work with independent providers for payment processing, banking, delivery, financing, hosting, analytics, communications, sourcing, and repairs. These providers may apply their own service terms and privacy rules.

We are not responsible for every independent third-party act beyond our control, but we will not use a provider’s involvement to disclaim responsibilities imposed on us as seller by Philippine law. Customers should report concerns to us so that we can coordinate a practical resolution.

37. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Natural disasters, serious transport disruptions, government restrictions, major utility or internet outages, and other events outside reasonable control can affect availability, payment processing, and delivery timelines. We will inform affected customers of material disruptions when practicable and discuss options that remain available.

This clause does not automatically cancel an existing obligation or waive a consumer’s right to a refund or another remedy when applicable law requires one.

38. Responsibility and Legal Limitations

To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control may be limited under the relevant transaction and applicable laws. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, proven negligence, non-delivery, defective goods, or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Any claim or proposed compensation will be evaluated on the actual facts, the purchase agreement, applicable law, and available evidence. These Terms do not impose an automatic blanket cap on all possible consumer remedies.

39. Questions, Complaints, and Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern, please contact us first with your name, order reference, a clear description, and supporting information that does not expose unnecessary sensitive data. We will review the concern and explain the proposed resolution or any further information needed.

If a dispute is not resolved directly, customers may contact the appropriate government office, regulator, payment provider, or court with jurisdiction, including the Department of Trade and Industry for eligible consumer complaints. Philippine law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory jurisdiction and consumer-protection rules.

40. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our products, operations, payment methods, security processes, website, or law. Updated terms will be made available through our website.

Changes do not retroactively remove rights or materially alter a completed order without the customer’s agreement or other lawful basis. The terms and information provided in connection with the customer’s accepted transaction remain important to any dispute or review.
